Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated QA Test Engineer to join our User Experience & Product Acceptance team to help us maintain the high level of quality and reliability of our digital products. You will be working alongside software developers on various web and mobile projects, assessing software quality by designing and implementing testing processes. You will take ownership of code quality through manual testing, identify and report system issues in accordance with quality standards and business needs.

Responsibilities

Gather, review and analyse business and system specifications
Collaborate with Product Owners and Developers to ensure the quality of a feature
Design and execute test cases and analyse results
Conduct tests across systems, browsers and devices for web and mobile
Create logs to document testing phases and defects
Report bugs. errors and defects to the Development Team and assist in troubleshooting
Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Identify key KPIs for product quality
Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management

Requirements

Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience as a Quality Assurance Test Engineer
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
Working knowledge of test management software
Familiarity in Agile ways of working
Well versed in API testing tools like Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, WireMock
Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
Attentive to detail, methodical, diligent
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact on a technical and non-technical level with stakeholders
Fluency in Greek and English, both verbal and written
