Overview
We're looking for a Sales Executive to generate new business for Techlink across the Cyprus private sector. You'll promote and sell our own SaaS products, our software and digital development services, and our vendor portfolio, including Microsoft and DocuSign, to SME and enterprise clients. The role is outbound and target-driven, focused on converting leads into signed business. It is field-based across Cyprus with regular office attendance in Nicosia, and reports to the Business Development Manager.
Responsibilities
- Pursue and convert leads generated by the Business Development Manager and General Manager, working them through to close within agreed timelines
- Prospect outbound to build pipeline beyond assigned leads, through cold outreach, follow-up on inbound enquiries, networking and referrals
- Qualify opportunities against fit, budget, decision authority and timeline, prioritising effort and disqualifying early where appropriate
- Arrange and run client meetings, discovery sessions and product demonstrations, both on site and remotely
- Present our value proposition clearly to business owners, IT managers and executive decision-makers
- Sell our own SaaS products to SME and enterprise clients, building confident, credible knowledge across the portfolio
- Sell software, web and mobile development services, working with technical and delivery colleagues to scope client requirements accurately before committing to an approach
- Sell vendor products including Microsoft and DocuSign, keeping up to date with licensing models, editions and commercial terms
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities, such as development services alongside a SaaS deployment or vendor licensing alongside a delivery project
- Run discovery to understand each client's business, challenges and objectives, and translate them into a clear statement of requirements
- Work with the Business Development Coordinator and technical colleagues to turn qualified requirements into proposals, quotations and licensing offers
- Present offers, handle objections, negotiate within agreed parameters and drive to signature
- Escalate pricing, scope or contractual terms outside your agreed authority to the Business Development Manager
- Keep accurate, up-to-date records of all activity, opportunities and forecasts in our CRM
- Report regularly on pipeline, forecast, activity levels and performance against target
- Follow up on open offers and client questions with discipline, so nothing is left unactioned
- Feed back structured market insight on client needs, competitor activity, pricing pressure and product gaps
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with prospects and clients throughout the sales cycle
- Hand over cleanly to the Business Development Coordinator and delivery team on closing, with scope, commitments and expectations documented
- Stay in touch with clients after the sale where appropriate, supporting renewals, expansion and repeat business
- Attend industry events, exhibitions and networking functions to build market presence and generate leads
- Contribute to marketing and campaign activity through market feedback and client insight
Requirements
- 2-5 years in a B2B sales role, ideally in technology, software, SaaS or business services
- A demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Fluency in Greek and English, written and spoken
- Confidence in outbound prospecting, cold outreach and face-to-face client meetings
- Strong commercial instinct and the ability to grasp technical concepts well enough to sell them credibly
- Organised and disciplined with CRM use, follow-up and reporting
- A valid driving licence and your own vehicle, and willingness to travel across Cyprus
Nice to have
- Experience selling SaaS or software development services
- Familiarity with Microsoft licensing or DocuSign
- An existing network within the Cyprus SME or enterprise market
- Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
